RECORDING & SMART SHARING
Of course you can record your trips to watch later. This is expected with even the littlest rifle scope. However, this rifle scope will record your hunting trips in HD format. The videos are captured in HD format ensuring that you can watch your trips over and again and enjoy the clarity. So you do not need to rely on your memory alone, feel free to rely on your rifle scopes HD records. Apart from normal videos, the Recoil Activated Video (RAV) ensures that every accurate shot is recorded to the last detail. Videos recorded can be streamed to your phone or tablet through either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. To do this, you will have to download the obsidian application. Simply download the app, connect your ATN THOR rifle scope to your phone or tablet via either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and choose to either view simultaneously, or if you are interested in watching previously saved videos, check the gallery out. However, if streaming is not for you, there is a more simple option of a micro SD card.
Smart Range Finder
The ATN X-Sight II has a range finder. In case you are not familiar with a range finder, it is a technology that accurately calculates the distance between you and your prey. You need to only make a few clicks and adjust your scope, the smart range finder will do the rest of the work and calculate the distance. Afterwards, the reticle follows up by adjusting its point of impact. This ATN has a Laser Ballistics Smart Laser Rangefinder 1500. The smart range finder is responsible for finding the distance between the prey and the predator. This job previously needed a whole different equipment to perform. The range finder eliminates the need of such devices. Knowing the distance between your prey allows you to make important decisions which help you hit your target head on. A shooter with little or no experience will not need much except a range finder to improve the accuracy of shots within time.
One other reason the ATN X-Sight II is a favorite of a wide range of people is due to its ballistic calculator. The technology of the ballistic calculator makes getting accurate shots so easy that any other method seems wearisome.
The ballistic calculator does away with the need for manual calculations, charts, multiple and complex reticles and reduces the effort needed considerably. With the ballistic calculator, even those with little or no experience can get some accurate shots. So what exactly does this ballistic calculator do?
The ballistic calculator uses the accurate measurements of the distance between you and your prey given by the range finder to ensure you hit your target. After entering all the data pertaining to the environment that is required such as conditions of the atmosphere and weather, accurate feedback containing the distance is given. The ballistic calculator also gives you accurate calculations in the trajectory of your bullet. It’s calculations adjust your point of impact to improve the accuracy of your shot placement.
